Brian “BOMBER” Brown Joins ST George FC
Brian Brown has been appointed as the Football Director at St George FC.
The announcement was made at the club’s End of Season Presentation Night by Club Chairman Bruce Spiteri.
‘Bomber” as he is affectionately known, is recognised as one of the best coaches ever involved in the NPL Competition
His teams have featured in 10 Grand Finals and been Minor Premiers 8 times.
He is excited at joining what he believes “is a club with a lot of potential”
“I am here to help the club win some trophies.
I want to be a part of the club moving forward” he added.
Brian Brown is definite in what he wants to see at St George FC.
“I want t create the St George FC way of playing from the youngest to the seniors”
That’s the appeal to Club Chairman Bruce Spiteri of the highly successful Scottish born Australian.
“A style of play that can be adapted through each age group in the club”
‘He is here to provide advice, assistance and direction to our coaches.
He is there if they need advice and assistance.”
Brian “‘Bomber” Brown has a “head start” in his new role- he has been watching St George FC matches during the 2025 season.
