St George FC Under 16 Team Into The Grand Final -A Chance To Make History

St George FC Boys Youth Under 16 team is on the verge of making club history when they face MacArthur Rams FC in the Grand Final on Saturday at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood (1-30 pm kick off)

No St George FC Boys Youth team has won the Grand Final.

Last year’s Boys Youth Under 16 team made the Grand Final only to lose to

MacArthur Bulls (Coached then by Fabien Miceli) now the St George FC NPL Coach.

Results from their meetings this season puts St George FC in with a real chance of making history.

The “Saints” have won both clashes -the first at home 5-2

The second “away” 1-0

Both teams finished on equal points with goal differences separating the third and fourth placed teams.

According to Manager Angelo Vitale the Rams are “a tough aggressive team who will be very hard to beat. We are a better Football Team and we have worked very hard this year to reach today”.

“We were always confident in making the finals given we have only lost 4 games in the season, he added”.

The Club wishes Coach Vince Giannini the very best in Saturdays big one and regardless of the outcome being the only boys Youth Team to make the Finals has made it an outstanding season for the Team.

We wish them well.
