
St George Fc Supports Bayside Council Community Event
On Thursday April 17th, St George FC assisted and supported in Youth Week Celebrations, an event organised by the Youth Services Team at Bayside Council.
The Event showcased the outstanding facilities at the redeveloped Barton Park precinct.
This year’s theme was we are the future, and the future is now.
The special event on the last day of Youth Week included many features.
- Barbeque and Refreshments provided by St George FC.
Club Chairman Bruce Spiteri, George Souris and Connie Filippakis “served up” to over 120 hungry young people aged 12 to 25 living across the Bayside Local Government area.

- Basketball with St George Basketball and supported by Basketball NSW.
- Tennis with Voyager Tennis.
- Football with St George FC.
Club Captain Troy Danaskos and team mate Evangelo Souris were joined by Junior Development Women’s Technical Director Theodora Fokas in providing training drills, fun skills and a beat the goalkeeper competition to the young boys and girls who attended on the day.
