Nicole Besz Helping Players On and Off The Field

Sport (Football) plays a major role in the life of St George FC co-captain Nicole Besz.

A Physiotherapist by occupation, with club sponsor Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy, Nicole participates in a wide variety of sports. These include everything from Football and Dancing to Oz Tag and strength and conditioning in the gym.

Nicole has spent much of her career playing football at representative level.

She has represented NSW in Futsal, won Premierships with St George FC and now, another milestone- 100 first grade games with the club achieved during this, her fifth season.

As a compliment to her leadership qualities, she has had the captain’s arm -band for all of those five seasons., with 2025 seeing her co-captain with Jordan Baker.

The “ideal role model” for the younger players in the club, Nicole has earned the respect of her peers, creates fear in her opponents, and inspires the next generation of defensive players at St George FC.

Loyalty is another quality of the centre back, Nicole spent twelve years at neighbouring Sutherland Shire FA prior to her now five seasons at St George FC.

Just to add to the endless qualities of the co-captain, her defensive role has not prevented her from goal scoring opportunities – so far, she has come from defence to attack with nine goals so far to her name.

Nicole Besz like most role models, is about helping young footballers reach their potential.

Off -field, she is keen to help others realise their physical potential.

On field – it’s about assisting with their playing potential.

Nicole’s milestone achievement was recognised prior to the match against Blacktown Spartans with Lyn Humphreys from the Oatley Hotel on hand for the special presentation along with Club Chairman Bruce Spiteri and Nicole’s family. Oatley Hotel has supported the Women’s Program for the last five years.

Fittingly it was also done with co-captain Jordan Baker celebrating her 100 first grade game milestone at the same time.

St George FC congratulates our Co-Captain Nicole Besz on her 100 First Grade Games milestone.
